Fine Arts and Books is located at No.19 Lion Street on the North side
of Hay-on-Wye and opposite the famous Old Black Lion, a 17th century
Inn. It is a medium-size shop with a relaxed atmosphere where one
can look around at leisure and with no obligation to make a purchase.
Our stock includes: Small pieces of Antique Furniture and Treen, European
and Oriental Pottery and Porcelain, Antique Glass, Pewter, Brass and
Copperware, Framed Prints, Interesting Collectables, Clocks and Musical
Instruments. Much of our stock dates from circa 1830 and earlier,
though one or two modern items deemed to be of sufficient merit are
also included. All stocks are clearly ticketed and priced, in addition there are informative display cards to assist and guide potential customers. We also have a stock of some 2,500 books, mostly hard-backed. non-fiction, historically based and in good condition. |
